Gym Building Update (February 16, 2024)
The construction group is pleased to report our progress for the week ended February 16, 2024.
Site Work: At this point the site work is all excavated for the entire construction area. Building footprint, parking lot, cafeteria parking area and various underground drainage for the building.
Concrete: We have 100% completed the footings, the foundation walls, foundation insulation and backfill of the foundation.
Steel work: This week saw the main building (gymnasium portion) overhead steel going up. The lobby/meeting area steel went up this week so we are now a fully framed metal building.
Siding/Stonework: We have arranged for Foard Panel of Chesterfield, NH to come and put up the 5 foot walls around the building where the stone will be going up on the main building (2 feet at the lobby/meeting room). As well the interior plywood will be on for the final protective siding in the playing area.
Stonework: Stonework has been ordered and should be here the middle of March.
