Gym Building Update (April 5, 2024)
Glad to report the work effort at St. Methodios gym project for week ended April 5, 2024.
Despite the snow and rain of Wednesday and Thursday of this week, good progress was made by all the building structure teams.
Crews from Budel Construction were on site to prepare the lower panels of the building for stone masonry which will start next week. They have done the majority of the preparatory work that needs to be done prior to adhesive of the stone.
Concurrent with that were teams from Osgood Construction who were building the steel structure. The ceiling panels for the entire building (main building and lobby) have been completed. Insulation and roofing on the first “bay” of the roof has been completed.
Next week should see the continue of the roof insulation and roofing going on. We should see the beginning of the stone veneer going on. The outside of the building is beginning to get some final “button up”.
